How do I clean my Phillips Coffee Maker?

How to clean the permanent filter (For HD7900/50 only)

  1. Take out the jug from the coffee machine.
  2. Grab the tab to open the filter holder.
  3. Take out the filter in the filter basket.
  4. Throw away the coffee grounds and clean your permanent filter.
  5. Place the filter in the filter basket and close the filter basket holder.

How to clean the grinder funnel

  1. Plug in the appliance.
  2. Open the filter holder to access the ground funnel chute.
  3. Turn on the coffee machine.
  4. Press the clean button on the machine's control panel.
  5. Select the brush setting on the display screen.
  6. Press the start button. This will cause the ground funnel chute flap to open, allowing you to clean the chute with a brush.
  7. Use a brush to remove any coffee grounds or residue that may have accumulated in the chute. (see image below).
  8. After cleaning the chute, press the start button again to close the flap.

How to clean the grinder

  1. Turn the container selector knob to the unlocked icon.
  2. Open and remove the bean container.
  3. Use a brush to remove any coffee grounds or residue that may have accumulated in the grinder.
  4. After cleaning, close the bean container and lock the container selector knob.
